In addition, Simulation Steering has a feeling of precision that's slightly ironed out with Normal Steering, and it's a bit harder to feel the lateral forces when using this setting. On the other hand, Simulation Steering has no assist, so it's a lot easier to send yourself sliding while making sudden turns. Steering in Normal is also significantly more stable. Normal Steering smooths out the yaw inertia of your car, which allows the weight to settle during rapid changes in direction at the cost of maximum responsiveness and sharpness. When using a Steering Wheel, you can play on two different settings: Normal and Simulation.
